Finding Peace With God As we may have mentioned before, when God The Father created Heaven and Earth and then went on to making man in His own image. He was creating life companions that would be His Children, that He could call His own for the rest of time. In order to make worthy and valuable companions out of us, God made us imperfect so there would be variety in our personalities and souls. Our characters were to be forged out of experience and pain, very much like God's character must have been formed in the time before time. To this aim, our Heavenly Father gave us the free will to do right and wrong, without which we wouldn't have had any value as true loving companions for He wanted us to be His children and not like the angels who were created perfect and therefore all the same and without any will of their own. God wanted us to choose Him before all other things. To choose Him and only Him for all eternity in the company of our brothers and sisters to be forever in His presence at peace with Him. Most churches make a big deal of sin and lays on the entire burden of guilt on us a human beings, but God understands full well that we are only human and that He created us knowing full well how we were going to turn out and that we are weak and imperfect. He doesn't not blame us for this but instead made provisions for us. According to God's Perfect Justice and Wisdom, having been created imperfect, we were doomed from the beginning to not being worthy of deserving something Perfect such as His Eternal Presence. He therefore understands sin. He hates sin but He understands it. God knows how it is an integral part of our lives and out striving for perfection. he also expects us to know this and not be too hard on ourselves so long as we mean to better ourselves and take steps on a daily basis to improve ourselves and to grow in wisdom and in His Love and love for Him. Understanding this enables us to look God our father in the eye and say: "Father, you made me imperfect and you know how hard it is to be in my shoes. I am weak. My flesh is weak, but my love for you is pure and I want to be worthy of being your child. Thank you father for all your wonderful gifts and forgive me when I fall short of your expectations. With your help Father, I will get there in the end and you will be proud of me" Our God is a God of Love and we should be at peace with Him!
