Forgiveness of Sin We must never forget, as this is most important, that when God The Father created Heaven and Earth and then went on to making man in His own image. He was creating life companions that would be His Children, that He could call His own for the rest of time. This was both a great gift and a great responsibility for God. It was not something He did lightly or without thought. In order to make worthy and valuable companions out of us, God made us the imperfect and frail human beings that we are, so there would be variety in our personalities and souls. Our characters were to be forged out of experience, love, loss, joy, sorrow and pain. God's character must have been formed very much in this same way in the time before time. To this aim, our Heavenly Father gave us the free will to do right and wrong, without which we wouldn't have had any value as true loving companions for He wanted us to be His children and not like the angels who were created perfect and therefore all the same and without any will of their own. He was aware from the beginning of the fact that we, as imperfect mortal beings, could never be worthy of being worthy of the Perfection of Heaven, which is God's home. So in the beginning of mankind, when god created us, before He did creates us He had a plan which was for us to fall into sin and learn the hardships of life without God, but always with the promise that God made us that He would send His Son to redeem us and pay the price for our imperfection. God realized that our imperfections were part of His Creation Plan which is why He planned to send His only Son and part of His Triune Self. God Himself, was to come to Earth and be one of us and to suffer our predicament and endure our human condition, so we could never say to God that he didn't know what it was like to be human. The name of God's only son, part of his triune self was Jesus. He was born of Mary and Joseph, the apparent son a humble shepard. He grew up among us and was mistreated by man so he would suffer injustice and die for us, having committed no sin, in order to pay the price that God had set for our redemption. If we accept this fact, we can look god in the eye and expect to be admitted into the Kingdom of Heaven, having accepted jesus in our hearts and accepting Him as our savior and redeemer. There is no way to get into the Kingdom of Heaven except through Him. It is written. Anyone who loves Him and accepts Him for whom he is and goes to the father in his name will have Eternal Life. It is as simple as that. It is part of God's plan for Him to Forgive us for our sins. We must repent for having offended God (and mean it) and ask Him to forgive us and our sins will be as far removed from us as the East is from the West. We would like you to note something from the Lord's Prayer, which Jesus gave to His Disciples when they asked Him how they should pray. This is a contemporary American English version:
So in order for God to forgive us the way we want Him to forgive us, we too have to at least be willing to forgive our neighbor when they do something to us and ask for our forgiveness. When our brother comes to us and asks for our forgiveness and means it, we must forgive him, so that God does the same with us. God never intended for us to be away from Him. He always gave us a way!
